1)  Club Programs Manager

This role requires a strong ability to communicate to youth participants, athletes, adult participants and parents with clarity, in terms of program content as well as participant expectations, selection and participation.

The Club Programs Manager will report to the Vice President Administration.
The Club Programs Manager will represent the program and the Club with professionalism, respect and leadership. The time commitment and compensation will be as follows:

  • 35-40 hours/week for approx. 14-16 weeks @ $18/hour. Starting as early as May 11, 2020

2) Competitive Coach

This role requires a strong ability to communicate to athletes and parents with clarity, in terms of athlete expectations, selection and participation. The Competitive Coach will report to the Club Programs Manager and will also receive direction and guidance from the Lead Program Coach.


The Competitive Coach will represent the program and the Club with professionalism, respect and leadership. The time commitment and compensation will be as follows:

  • 30-35 hours/week for approx. 8-9 weeks @ $16/hour. Starting as early as June 8, 2020
  • Allowances will be made for those Competitive Coaches who require their own daily training with days off as needed

3) Lead Coach – Adult Programs

This role requires a strong ability to communicate to adult athletes with clarity, in terms of program content as well as athlete expectations, selection and participation. The Lead Coach – Adult Programs will report to the Club Programs Manager.

The Lead Coach – Adult Programs will represent the program and the Club with professionalism, respect and leadership. The time commitment and compensation will be as follows:

  • 35-40 hours/week for approx. 14-16 weeks @ $17/hour. Starting as early as May 11, 2020

4) Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will be largely responsible to develop, plan, coordinate and execute promotional strategies for club programs, regattas, events and awareness opportunities to the sport of rowing. This position will report to the Director, Marketing & Communications.

The promotion of club programming and events will provide opportunities to evaluate the impact of various forms of media and will also provide many opportunities for the Marketing Coordinator to interface, engage and communicate with not only program participants but the public as well.

The Marketing Coordinator will represent the program and the Club with professionalism, respect and leadership. The time commitment and compensation will be as follows:

  • Up to 30 hours/week for approx. 8-12 weeks @ $16/hour starting as early as May 11th, 2020

5) Novice Coach

This role requires a strong ability to work with youth who are new to the sport and offer an inclusive and supportive environment to help ensure the participants enjoy their program experience. The Novice Coach will report to the Club Programs Manager and will also receive direction and guidance from the
Lead Program Coach.

  • The Novice Coach time commitment and compensation will be as follows:
    Up to 30 hours/week for approx. 7 weeks @ $14.50/hour and starting July 6th, 2020
  • Allowances will be made for those Novice Coaches who require their own daily training with days off as needed
  • Hours: Generally, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 12:30pm and 5:45pm to 8:15pm
  • Extra hours will be required for promotional events and club maintenance.
